Meet the instructors who teach at Primavera.
Founder and lead instructor · Misako Iida
After graduating from a music university, she taught at Yamaha Music School and worked at a public junior high school before founding Primavera. Drawing on experience teaching approximately 6,500 learners in total, she tailors each lesson carefully to the child's individuality and pace.
We have supported learners ranging from young beginners to students pursuing specific goals.
She has grown a trusted school rooted in the local community.
She also leads a facility that provides developmental support through music and applies her junior-high teaching license and eurhythmics qualification to her lessons.
Shieno Takahashi
After studying piano at Showa College of Music, she taught piano and Electone at Yamaha Music School and worked with many students.
She also brings that experience to developmental support through music at Doremi.
She performs as a lounge and wedding pianist and at corporate product launches, recitals and events.
She also draws on her experience leading music-based wellness sessions in her teaching.
She also leads music-based wellness sessions as a Utsunomiya lifelong-learning instructor.
Drawing on her experience teaching piano and Electone, she teaches a wide range of courses.
Sayaka Kato
She began piano at age two, studied piano at Utsunomiya Junior College High School and completed the Piano Performance course and graduate studies in keyboard accompaniment at Tokyo College of Music.
An award winner in numerous competitions in Japan and abroad, she works widely as a soloist, vocal and instrumental accompanist, chamber pianist, orchestral keyboard player and arranger.
She also works as a rehearsal and performance pianist for opera and operetta. Her lessons support individual goals from complete beginners to students preparing for music high school or university entrance exams.
She performs actively across genres in concerts, recitals and outreach events in Tochigi and throughout Japan.
She teaches piano part-time at universities, junior colleges and high-school music programs.
Misaki Kishi
A flutist from Tochigi, she graduated from the flute program at Utsunomiya Junior College High School and continues her studies in wind music and ensemble at Utsunomiya Junior College.
She has earned excellent results in competitions including the All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition and has appeared as a soloist with the Utsunomiya Junior College Orchestra.
Her local performances include a guest appearance on FM Tochigi (RADIO BERRY)'s 'Ongaku no Minaterrace Tochigi' and many classical concerts. Her flute lessons value the joy of music and personal expression.
She has achieved excellent competition results and performed as an orchestral soloist.
Her community-based work includes RADIO BERRY appearances and concerts at the prefectural office.
